However, in an interview with Times Now, her mother, Sania Sharma, strongly denied the rumors. When asked about the speculation, Sania expressed surprise, stating, “What are you saying? People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone. Should we believe them?” She dismissed the rumors as common when someone gains public attention and called them “completely false.”

Earlier, ETimes reported that Mahira and Siraj were romantically involved, citing sources who claimed the pair had been dating privately for months. The rumors gained traction after Siraj liked one of Mahira’s Instagram posts, and the two started following each other, sparking fan speculation about their relationship.

Before this, Mahira was in a relationship with Paras Chhabra, whom she met on Bigg Boss 13. The couple broke up in 2023, with Paras later sharing on a podcast with Bhavya Singh that while their relationship had been good, they eventually realized they were not compatible for the long term.
